Philip T. Ellmore moved to the Cinnaminson/Riverton area just prior to opening Mosquito Hunters of Cherry Hill West-Riverton-Mount Laurel. It is an excellent location, close to Philadelphia and all the major thoroughfares. It has everything the Elmore’s needed – easy access to shopping and recreation, wonderful parks, and all the amenities. Most importantly, it is close to their grandchildren.

After an extensive career in college/university administration Phil was ready for a new adventure – Mosquito Hunters of Cherry Hill West-Riverton-Mount Laurel. “The idea of growing a business appealed to me. My desire is to run an outstanding customer-focused business that is an enjoyable place to work. We want to be connected to our community, doing our part to make this area a wonderful place to live and work. The business has given me the boost of energy and interest I needed at this stage of my life. I am not ready to retire, still have a lot to offer and needed a new challenge. The Mosquito Hunters opportunity came along at just the right time!”

Phil and his wife, Trudy, have been married for thirty-seven years. They have two grown children and two grandchildren. The Ellmore’s have had dogs in the past and now have a Russian Blue cat named, “Sheba.”  They enjoy family, travel, and Phil plays golf whenever he can. After a thirty-five-year career in college and university administration, Mosquito Hunters is Phil’s “retirement-job.”  He has a Ph. D. in Leadership and Organizational Behavior and most recently served as Vice President of Advancement at the Rutgers University Foundation.

In their free time the Ellmore’s volunteer at the Burlington County Animal Shelter. In addition, Phil is also a member of the Board of Trustees at his undergraduate alma mater, Alderson Broaddus University in West Virginia.
