How Our Mosquito Treatments in the League City Area Work
At Mosquito Hunters, we owe the success of our mosquito treatments to three factors: the products we use, how we apply them, and the team that provides our treatments.
Our standard treatment product contains an active ingredient derived from the chrysanthemum flower. Chrysanthemums produce one of nature’s most potent insecticides, called pyrethrins. We use a synthetic form of this compound, called pyrethroids. This ingredient has two main advantages. It’s lethal to mosquitoes on contact, making it great for mosquito control. But it can also be applied to areas used by children and pets. In fact, you’ll find the same ingredient in products like anti-lice shampoos!
Each of our treatments includes a mix of strategies for getting rid of existing mosquitoes and preventing new infestations. We apply targeted treatments to stop active mosquito populations. Meanwhile, we use barrier treatments and anti-larval applications to prevent future outbreaks. Together, these strategies prevent the vast majority of mosquito activity for at least 3 weeks following treatment.
Theses strategies are not nearly as effective when used by non-professionals. That’s where our team at Mosquito Hunters comes in. Our technicians are known for their friendly nature, their knowledge and expertise, and the careful attention to detail they bring to their work. It’s thanks to our team we’re able to promise your complete satisfaction with each treatment.
