Janelle and Larry are originally from Brooklyn, NY. Although they grew up less than a mile away from each other, they did not meet until they were both students in college in Buffalo, NY. After college, they moved back to Brooklyn, but decided they wanted to raise a family away from the hustle and bustle of NYC. They relocated to the Northern NJ area and have been residents of the area for fifteen years. They are proudly raising three children and enjoy spending family time at local parks, restaurants, and community events.
Janelle is an Occupational Therapist and travels often throughout northern NJ to see her clients. She enjoys working with people of all ages and helps her clients to regain independence with their favorite activities after debilitating injuries. When she is not at work or with her family, Janelle enjoys exercising, traveling, reading, and shopping. Janelle is also regularly active with her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, Inc., and helps to coordinate programs to educate and uplift the community.
Larry majored in Electrical Engineering in college and spent many years working for corporate companies as an Operations and Quality Assurance Analyst and Manager. Larry’s attention to detail can be seen in the beautiful wooden pieces and art that he makes in his spare time. Larry is regularly active with his fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and Masonic Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons affiliation, where he serves as a Grand Lodge Officer. Larry also enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, and is an avid sports fan. Go Giants!
After years of corporate employment, Larry began to seriously contemplate starting his own business. After years of working long hours including on weekends, he wanted to have control over his time so that he could spend more time with his wife and children. He hated missing his children’s basketball games and track meets and wanted a business that would allow him to have the work-life balance that he desired. Larry also wanted a business where customers and employees were both valued, which did not occur often in corporate settings. When Larry found Mosquito Hunters, he knew that this would be the perfect business for him. Not only will he work with his wife to create a successful business, but the core value of the Mosquito Hunters brand is to allow families to spend quality time together. Larry is not in the mosquito business…he is in the business of making and fostering relationships.
“Our mission is to provide quality services by building excellent relationships with our customers. We are a local business, and our clients are not only customers but friends, neighbors, and fellow parents. We care about you and your home, let us help you to keep it Mosquito free.”
