What sets Mosquito Hunters of Chippewa Valley apart from their competitors is that they are real, local, very involved and personable.  Jeremy & Megan Mittlestadt were both born and raised in the area which they service.  They are also blessed in that they live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, especially such a great area in terms of natural resources.  Chippewa Valley are offers fantastic lakes, rivers, and forests, which make for great vacation areas, and numerous opportunities for hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking, or just sitting around a crackling campfire enjoying drinks and laughs with friends.

Jeremy understands that as a franchise, at times you can feel like a “big business” on the surface, but Jeremy & Megan really are local business owners, completely vested in their community and like to treat each customer as such.  They want business next time around, not just today.

Jeremy graduated with a Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Hospitality & Tourism Management in 2003.  Jeremy & Megan have been married since 2009 and have three children JB, Myla and Charlotte. They also have a dog named Nitschke (After Jeremy’s Favorite Green Bay Packer player). As a family the Mittlestadt’s enjoy spending time together outside, camping, boating, fishing, and hunting.  They also love to be active in their community serving in various leadership roles.  Jeremy & Megan also enjoy watching and coaching their kids in various athletics.

The main reasons Jeremy & Megan decided to get into the mosquito control business was to be able to create something that could help to give back to the communities they service and live in.  The Mittlestadt’s live in a fantastic area with great, hardworking giving people.  They were at a point in their lives they needed to make a change that could not only benefit their time and ability to give it, but also allows them to spend more time as a family.

As Mosquito Hunters of Chippewa Valley grows their business, they are very excited when telling folks about the mosquito control business.  Jeremy & Megan love having the opportunity to talk about their business, follow up with people that have used Mosquito Hunters and hearing about how they have been able to do more in their yards that they have not been able to do, mosquito free!

The Mittlestadt’s get the chance to meet some amazing people and other business owners through entrepreneurship.  That has been one of the great things to come from the Mosquito Hunters business.  The Chippewa Valley community is so great in that they are all willing to help one another and support each other’s success.  That alone just reiterates why Jeremy & Megan both moved back to the area to start a family after leaving to take jobs out of the area after college.

Mosquito Hunters focus on homes and vacation properties but are also available for commercial operators such as campgrounds, bars, restaurants, supper clubs (there is a difference!) They also service a great deal of camping sites along the many rivers, streams, and lakes in the area.

The Mittlestadt’s get involved in many community organizations but in the past, they have donated or supported to the following organizations:  Lions Club International, Shot for Hope, Dunn County Fish & Game Association, American Heart Association, Coaches vs. Cancer, and Boyceville Community Action Club.
