Joel and Elizabeth Taylor are the proud owners of Mosquito Hunters of North & West Jacksonville-Fleming Island-Fernandina Beach. They are grateful to provide mosquito treatment to their friends and neighbors in the area.

Joel is a Florida native who moved to the greater New York City area for work in IT for several years.  There he met his wife Elizabeth, a New Jersey native.  In search of a quieter way of life, they moved to Florida to raise their two daughters in 2018. They couldn’t love it more. “The kindness and warmth of the greater Jacksonville community is unmatched.  It is home.”

The corporate grind was the main catalyst to become a Mosquito Hunters business owner.  They hate the bugs, especially mosquitos and ants common in the area, making Mosquito Hunters the perfect fit.

In their free time The Taylor’s are involved in their children’s activities. Joel is also active in their local church where he is an audio engineer, mixing their feeds to the internet and local radio stations like JAX country.  He teaches church media activities, such as lighting, lyrics, camera operating, video production and audio mixing to 5^th and 6^th grade youth.  Elizabeth focuses her time on being a mom, to their two daughters and are foster care volunteers.

As Mosquito Hunters Franchisees, The Taylor’s have more time with their two homeschooled daughters, Amelia and Paige, who are now Mosquito Hunters interns in their free time.  Amelia, sixteen, loves all things horses and video games, while Paige, fourteen, is in a dance company that keeps her busy all week.

The Taylor’s also support four children via Compassion International.
