Mosquito Hunters of Lafayette, LA is owned by Cindy Hostbjor and she operates the business with her best friend and business partner, Sandy Hayes.

Growing up, Cindy’s father was a Colonel in the Air Force, so Cindy did a lot of traveling as a child. She and her family moved across the country from base to base, living in nearly all 50 states.

Cindy was excited to settle in Lafayette, Louisiana with her husband, an oil industry engineer. They’ve been residents for more than 20 years now and they love everything about the Lafayette area, especially its culture.

Prior to Mosquito Hunters, Cindy traveled the world as a cooking show host, with her business partner, Sandy, demonstrating at trade shows, fairs, and festivals. It was a wonderful career, but after fifteen years, Cindy was ready to settle down and work close to home. Mosquito Hunters offered everything she was looking for: the comfort of working in her hometown and the opportunity to provide quality mosquito control service to the many homes in the Lafayette community.
