For the Vennon’s, it has always been about family and how they can help their children have a simpler life, as free of stress as possible. Living in Pickerington for over thirty-eight years has allowed them to enjoy that stress-free life with good people as neighbors. Tom and his daughter Kerri felt this was the perfect place for their Mosquito Hunters of Pickerington-Reynoldsburg-Canal Winchester business.

After High School, in 1968, Tom travelled to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University where he has lived and worked ever since. Tom has four adult children, three of whom still live and work in the area. He also has ten grandchildren and many memories from his life in Pickerington as he coached his children and grandchildren in a variety of Pickerington youth sports. When Tom retired two years ago, he thought “that’s it, I’m all done.” Well, that is not where the whole story ends.

Kerri has always lived and worked in this area her entire life. She has been working in the medical field for many years and has spent most of her life helping others. She has worked in a hospital ICU unit for most of her career. She realized and shared with Tom that her work was very demanding from both a physical and mental perspective and that she needed to make a change. Kerri’s family, Sierra, Ethyan and Everett will also be working in the business.

The Vennon’s wanted to give back to their community in a helpful way. Deciding to start Mosquito Hunters of Pickerington-Reynoldsburg-Canal Winchester to fight against a very bothersome pest, which is the number one killer of human beings in the world, just fit into what they are all about. They also loved the opportunity of creating a more stress-free back yard for their neighbors free of mosquitos, ticks, and fleas. Mosquito Hunters also wants to provide employment opportunities for others so they could join the Mosquito Hunters family.

Mosquito Hunters of Pickerington-Reynoldsburg-Canal Winchester provides mosquito control services to Baltimore, Brice, Canal Winchester, Carroll, Columbus, Etna, Groveport, Lithopolis, Millersport, Pataskala, Pickerington, Pleasantville, Reynoldsburg, Summit Station and Thurston.

Tom and Kerri want to create a legacy for their families to enjoy for the future.
