Barbara and Tino originally came to the Savannah area from Connecticut with their young daughter after their three sons had grown and left home for college and careers. Villani’s began working in mosquito control in Hilton Head, but always hoped that there would be an opportunity for a larger, family business, someday. Their son, Nick attended St Leo’s University in Tampa and went on to work in the insurance industry after his graduation. After a few years of business experience, he too became interested in building a family business. Nick, Kathleen and their dog, George, moved to Pooler to help them bring Mosquito Hunters to the greater Savannah community. Nick enjoys bowling and beating his dad at golf, on occasion.

The rapid growth in the Savannah community provides a favorable environment for biting insects and an opportunity to educate and service Savannah’s mosquito control needs. Mosquito Hunters of Savannah is excited to contribute to solving this problem.

Mosquito Hunters of Savannah focuses on mosquitos, ticks, fleas, and other outdoor biting pests. This specialization sets them apart from others who provide pest control services. All their time and effort is directed at developing solutions for these problems. But most importantly Mosquito Hunters of Savannah is about loyalty, they work extremely hard to earn their customers loyalty, every day.

The Villani’s have lived in the Savannah area, in the Low Country, for seven years. While there is no argument the weather, history, and natural beauty make this one of the finest places to live, it is the culture that is their favorite thing about this region. They love and appreciate that family remains at the center of the culture here.

Everything the Villani’s love to do is outdoors. There are so many historic sites at Savannah’s River Front, our Garden District, Forsyth Park, and Bonaventure Cemetery. We have great food and entertainment all around Savannah’s charming neighborhoods as well as in Savannah’s City Market. They are proud to be home of the US Army’s Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. Of course, no one does St. Patrick’s Day the way they do in Savannah.

Effective mosquito control is a collective responsibility. State and municipal agencies, as well as some local communities regularly spray for mosquitos. This helps keep mosquito populations down, but homeowners have a key role to play to ensure that this benefit extends all the way into their yard. Mosquito Hunters of Savannah is committed to helping their neighbors understand mosquito control and find responsible ways to participate, locally, to the solution.

In their free time the Villani’s contribute to various charitable organizations such as Tunnels to Towers. They also were a regional sponsor for Special Olympics in Connecticut for many years before moving to the area.
