Our business is not only family owned and operated, but also a Veteran owned and operated by Jerry and Pam Horton. Jerry is a United States Navy Veteran and upon the completion of his Navy service in 1996 we moved to Minden, LA where we raised our two children. Upon graduating high school, both our son and our daughter joined the Navy and have since moved back to the area and blessed us with three beautiful grandkids. When we are not watching the grandkids in their various sports, we enjoy hunting, boating, playing on our ATV’s and Jerry will often be shooting Sporting Clays.
We have always wanted our own business to be a little more in control of our time and to provide a more stable work environment for our children and grandchildren. We are excited to be working with our family and growing our business to allow all of us to work together. Mosquito Hunters checked all the boxes as the right business by not only allowing us to enjoy the outdoors more, but to help you enjoy them as well.
We, at Mosquito Hunters, are not just another pest control company. We spend much of our free time outdoors and know how hard it is to enjoy it while swatting mosquitoes or worrying about ticks and fleas. We truly want to help everyone enjoy being outside and playing with their children and pets. We are not in the pest control business; we are in the loyalty business.
Over the last 25 years of living and working in Louisiana, we have grown to love the abundance of outdoor activities that are available. It is the Sportsman’s Paradise after all and now we can help everyone enjoy their own little piece of it even more.
