We are Dawn and Rob Tennenbaum, the proud business owners of Mosquito Hunters of Northern Nassau County, New York. We have lived and raised our triplet sons in Manhasset on the Gold coast of Long Island for almost 30 years. Invested in the community, Dawn is a board member of the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce. We both enjoy the outdoors, skiing, hiking, gardening, barbecuing, ice hockey and practicing yoga. Our bucket list is to ski on every continent and watch a hockey game in every arena in North America – we are getting there!

Our mission is to help you take back your yard from mosquitoes and ticks using an all-natural solution. We ease our customers pain from mosquitoes and ticks. While there are others who provide this service, our goal is five-star customer service for mosquito control service and tick control service. We want to listen and provide an outstanding experience to all of our customers. The superb service provided by our certified, highly qualified technicians sets us apart. We want to treat our customers the way they want to be treated. Period. You may wonder, why did we decide to do this. . . Once upon a time, we were working and commuting parents while raising our triplet sons here on Long Island. Like many Long Islanders, we spent much of our time commuting, and we liked to spend weekends in our backyard enjoying our family and entertaining. We wanted to enjoy the spectacular place where we live. We know that the North Shore of Long Island offers the best of all worlds. . . easy access to the greatest city in the world and some of the best beaches in the world! We loved spending time outdoors and entertaining in our yard, but we were never able to completely do that. The mosquitoes and ticks were always bothering us and our guests, until we discovered Mosquito Hunters. We had our own yard treated and we were sold. We could enjoy our yard again!

   We were instantly excited about the practical, affordable mosquito control services, as well as the business model. We both have worked in the customer service business, and we knew we could provide top notch mosquito control service. We both love helping families enjoy more time outdoors together. Our goal is to provide an all-natural solution to your mosquito and tick problem. Our all-natural mosquito spray is made of up essential oils and does work differently than our traditional barrier spray. While it eliminates adult mosquitoes on contact, the all-natural spray acts as a repellent instead of eliminating mosquitoes through their eating habits. Traditional sprays are ingested by the mosquito when it feeds on plant material that has been treated, eliminating the pest, while the all-natural mosquito spray repels them with its smell.
