Hi, we’re Bill and Gay Lund, and we’re the owners of Mosquito Hunters of Northwest Richmond-Mechanicsville. We are a locally owned and operated small business. Not only are we locally owned, but we are also locally grown. We both grew up in Eastern Henrico and have lived here most of our lives. Bill graduated from Varina High School and Gay graduated from Highland Springs High School. We met at church and were married in 1994. We have two children, a son and a daughter. We attend church in Mechanicsville, and Bill has participated in the Hanover Church softball league for many years. In our spare time, when we’re not hunting mosquitoes, we enjoy riding our bicycles along the Virginia Capital Trail, playing golf and going to the movies.
Our service area covers some beautiful neighborhoods in the Metro Richmond area of Central Virginia. These include Mechanicsville, Historic Church Hill in Richmond, The Fan and Museum Districts, Glen Allen and Western Henrico, and south of the James River, Bon Air, Midlothian and Chesterfield County. Our territory includes areas with much vegetation and many bodies of water. Both of these are pretty and supply great areas of recreation, however, they are also great locations to breed and harbor mosquitoes and ticks.
We think of our customers as friends and love helping them enjoy their yards. We’re excited for the opportunity to serve those in our territory and help them take back their yards and protect their families, including the furry members, from those pesky mosquitoes and ticks!
